ISHPES Congress
Sport in History: Promises and Problems

ISHPES was held at the University of Stirling in July 2009.

Over 200 delegates attended five parallel sessions over five days in three languages, French, German and English. The British Society of Sport History also held their conference over three days of this meeting.

Intelligent Events managed every aspect of this joint Congress including a comprehensive Social programme with trips to Hampden Park, St Andrews Golf Museum, Stirling Castle and the Famous Grouse Distillery.
